#GoOffshore

Last month saw the launch of the new Offshore range from Audemars Piguet. To celebrate they threw a party - and what a party it was.

Held at the Victoria House Basement in London's Bloomsbury Square, it was a night of drinks, music and more drinks - and oh yeah, there were some pretty amazing watches on display as well. The new Royal Oak Offshore range (reference 26470) was on display alongside some of the historical pieces from this Iconic design, such as The Beast', the original Offshore from 1993 designed by Emmanuel Gueit, and the Arnold Schwarzenegger Legacy. Seeing all the watches together is quite a sight, and really shows how this family of watches has developed over the years. Several pieces, like the Montoya's and Barrichello's are now quite sought after.

After we ogled the watches it was back to the party, where celebrities, press, collectors and fans of the brand all came together for a night of fun and more drinks in the form of Vodka cocktails.

The night was topped off by a great performance from Tinie Tempah who was sporting the new white ceramic 42mm Offshore model - a first for Audemars Piguet.

All round it was a great night to celebrate a great brand and an iconic watch from the world of Haute Horology. After all the Offshore gave birth to the super-sized sports watch, which has gone from strength to strength and is worn the world over by movie stars, musicians, sportsmen and women as well as people who love the style and image of the brand as well as the quality of workmanship and finishing that goes into every piece.

So if you haven't checked them out yet, click the link and GO Offshore
