Hublot was created in 1980, and for the first time in the history of watch making, combined precious gold with rubber. This marked the birth of the "Fusion" concept.
In 2004 Jean-Claude Biver became CEO of Hublot and relaunched the brand, bringing back the concept of the "Art of Fusion"
2005 saw the creation of the Big Bang. Instant success followed and the Big Bang has become a classic design easily recognised the world over.
Continuing the Fusion ideal Hublot have created timepieces blending different materials together. They have also been pioneers in creating new materials, like the scratch resistant 18-carat Magic Gold.
In 2012 Ricardo Guadalupe was promoted to CEO and has overseen the brand's continued success.
